The Scottish Government have enacted an early release  from prison scheme for low-risk offenders in a bid to ease overcrowding.

This might mean a slight increase in demand for substance use services, NHS Pharmacy First (Scotland) and unscheduled care supplies. Overall numbers are low, the releases have been managed in waves and are spread across the country - however, these people will not have had any recent contact with your pharmacy or a GP practice and may need additional support accessing healthcare services.
