CPS joins 47 other Scottish organisations in backing a letter to the UK Chancellor of the Exchequer
Community Pharmacy Scotland, along with other organisations across civic society in Scotland, call for funding support towards employer nation insurance contributions ahead of the planned increases from 1st of April 2025. The letter which has been sent from First Minister John Swinney and COSLA President Shona Morrison to UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves has been supported by 48 organisations from the public and voluntary sector. The letter raises concerns over the impact of the impending increase, which is estimated to cost organisations delivering public services in Scotland approximately £700 million.
