Who are we?
Baird's Pharmacy launched in 1981 and is a family owned and managed group of 11 community pharmacies operating mainly in the North East of Scotland. We pride ourselves in prioritising our patient's and strive to enhance the health and wellbeing of our community through quality medication supply, management and health education. We are progressive in outlook, and have a keen interest in utilising technology (mainly through the use of robotics integrated with our Analyst PSL dispensing software) and education to enable us to deliver the best pharmaceutical care to our patients.
Baird's Pharmacy will support your continued development as a community pharmacist. We have a close team of colleagues to support you who work throughout our branches, consisting of Area Managers, Pharmacist Prescribers, Experiential Learning Supervisors and Travel Specialists.

In our Elgin branch, the pharmacist manager will lead an experienced team, consisting of a variety of experienced staff, including Accuracy Checking Technicians. As well as dispensing prescriptions, you will provide counselling and health advice to patients and carers alongside delivering the full range of services in the NHS contract. There is also the opportunity to provide private services such as the Travel Vaccination and Advice. If interested, training in these areas can be provided.
You will work closely with the local health centres and healthcare professionals who we have great working relationships to optimise patient outcomes and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications required:
GPhC registration
Great communication and interpersonal skills
Community pharmacy experience would be an advantage but not essential
