We are seeking an enthusiastic Pharmacy Dispenser to join our small friendly team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, adherence to pharmacy regulations, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to optimise medication administration.

Duties

• Accurately dispense prescribed medications and ensure proper labelling according to pharmacy standards.

• Assist in the preparation of medication doses.

• Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles to support effective medication management.

• Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and offering guidance on medication usage.

• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care and medication safety.

• Monitor inventory levels of medications and supplies, placing orders as needed to maintain stock.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to pharmacy operations.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry practices.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a pharmacy dispenser/Level 2 is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy practices.

• Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.

• A commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

• Relevant qualifications or certifications in pharmacy practice are advantageous but not mandatory.
