Adjusted Prices Review and Part 7 Additions & Deletions August 2024

As a part of our work with the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland, we regularly raise lines of concern and work to secure adjusted prices for these. We also work with them regularly to review lines which have now stabilised and remove these as appropriate.

Based on evidence, there are several lines that have stabilised which you can view here with their revised price for August 2024. These are no longer treated as Adjusted Prices; however, we will continue to monitor these lines, so we ask you to please continue to use our Shortages Reporter to report any that are of concern. This allows us to continue to negotiate with Public Health Scotland and raise any issues around shortages and over tariff lines.

You can review the list of current Adjusted Price on the website as of the 1st August.

There has been two lines added to Part 7 this month:

  • Simple linctus paediatric sugar free 200 ml

  • Simple linctus sugar free 200 ml

There has been one line added to Part 7B this month:

  • Paracetamol 120mg/5ml oral suspension paediatric 100ml

There have been two lines deleted from Part 7B this month:

  • Simple linctus paediatric sugar free 200 ml

  • Simple linctus sugar free 200 ml
