Applications Open for CPHB Associate Members
Published: 11/07/24
At Community Pharmacy Scotland (CPS), our Community Pharmacy Health Board committees are at the forefront of local service negotiation. Currently, a number of our CPHB Committees have vacancies available for Associate Members for the term 2022-25.
While the committee members consist of pharmacy owners, superintendents, directors and senior CCA roles, the associate member roles are reserved for non-owner pharmacists and those in more junior roles to gain committee experience.
The committees with posts available are:
Tayside
Dumfries and Galloway
This is a great opportunity to be involved in the pharmaceutical care and policy decisions in your health board area.
Each local Community Pharmacy Scotland committee can appoint up to 2 Pharmacist Associate Members to aid the functions and skills mix of the committee. Applicants, in conjunction with their employer, can apply to join the committee.
If you are interested in the role, this guidance document gives further detail.
If you would like to apply, please complete the application form and return to pharmacy.services@cps.scot by the 9th August 2024.
We have also in the past received some specific enquiries from pharmacists who would like to apply for Associate Member positions, who are either on Maternity Leave, or about to commence Maternity Leave. Pharmacists in this situation should follow the standard process for Associate Member Applications detailed below, ensuring current contact details are on the form.
If any Line Managers/Maternity Agents are aware of anyone on Maternity Leave who would like to make an Associate Member Application, please highlight this message to them.
