Deletions to Part 7S as of 1st May 2024
Published: 08/05/24
The new updated version of Part 7 is now available for May 2024. In this month there are three deletions to Part 7S of the drug tariff we wanted to make you aware of.
As of the 1st May 2024, the following lines have been removed:
Quetiapine 50mg/5ml oral suspension 100 ml
Ramipril 5mg/5ml oral suspension 100 ml
Tranexamic acid 500mg/5ml oral suspension 100 ml
This now means that Health Board authorisation should be sought prior to dispensing. You should also follow the normal endorsing process for non-tariff unlicensed specials, detailing your SP price and claiming the £30 handling charge both on paper and electronically
If you have any further questions, please contact us at pharmacy.services@cps.scot or on 0131 467 7766.
