There are a few key changes to LFD testing for pharmacy teams this week – detailed information is included in the links below, but we know how busy you are so to summarise:

All healthcare teams are now being encouraged to carry out LFD tests daily instead of twice each week.

1. NHS NSS are working hard to increase supplies to pharmacy teams starting at the end of December, but this will take a little time to filter through. If you don’t have enough kits to start daily testing just now, stick with twice weekly until your allocation arrives.

2. The kits that will be supplied are changing to Orient Gene 20-pack kits. It’s important that you read the information from NSS below and in the attached documents to understand how and when to start using these.
