RPS Pharmacy 2030 Vision

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) are calling for pharmacists to have access to a shared patient record as part of their vision for pharmacy.


RPS hosted an MSP Drop-In session at the Scottish Parliament on 16/01/2025 to advocate for a single shared electronic patient record that will transform health and care services. This will be a universal patient record into which every professional both reads and writes information, using their existing clinical system. Access to this type of record will release clinicians' capacity and enable the provision of better care for patients. Read more about RPS's vision for the pharmacy profession here:
