We are pleased to see that the House of Lords recently held a debate which used community pharmacy as a central talking point, eventually voting overwhelmingly in favour of granting an exemption to this rise in business costs.

Community Pharmacy Scotland joins 47 Scottish organisations in urging the UK Chancellor to provide funding support for rising employer National Insurance contributions. A joint letter, led by First Minister John Swinney and COSLA President Shona Morrison, highlights the £700 million cost burden facing public and voluntary sectors in Scotland.
