PCA(P)(2019)16 - Amendments to the Drug Tariff Part 11 Discount Clawback Scale

Introduction

To advise that part 11 discount clawback rate will be revised following a recalculation exercise.

Background

Circular PCA(P)(2019)15 notified that the part 11 discount clawback scale would be reset to 5.33% effective from 1 August. Following a recalculation exercise the clawback scale will be amended and reset as noted at point 3.

Details

Drug Tariff Part 11

The Part 11 discount clawback rate to the Drug Tariff shall be reset to 4.21% effective 1 August 2019. As such the target clawback has been adjusted accordingly. See the attached Annex for further detail on the scale.

Pending any further notice, the Part 11 target clawback rate shall be reviewed in accordance with the agreed context of the funding arrangements upon receipt of the next Quarterly Discount Survey
