As the delivery of our strategy to have CP IPs in all community pharmacies in Scotland, continues we have an ever growing number of CP IP Employee trainees across the network. Thanks to everyone who supporting this, and to the trainees for their hard work in gaining their IP qualification.

Scottish Government has agreed to an annualised pool of £1m to support the training of employee Pharmacist Independent Prescribers in community pharmacies. Further details will be provided under a separate circular on arrangements.

There are two groups available for IPs/IP Trainees, hosted by CPS. These are mainly for sharing information/asking questions/getting to know the other IPs and IP Trainees in practice in Scotland.
