This October, a new group of newly qualified pharmacists who are employed in community pharmacy will embark on a programme designed to improve confidence and competence in-role. Successful applicants who progress as expected through the course will be guaranteed a place on an IP course in Scotland.

Please find below a message from our colleagues at NES, who are preparing to begin the recruitment for 2025/26 Foundation Year (Pre-reg) pharmacists.

To support the Post Registration National Foundation Programme for Newly Qualified Pharmacists, a monthly fee of £1,000 will be made available to the contractor named on the pharmaceutical list on the 1st of each month where the newly qualified pharmacist has joined the PRFP scheme.
