The Knowledge Network for health and social care has had a refresh!

NHS Scotland employees and contractors are eligible for an account to access the range of resources available through the Knowledge Network.

Resources include the digital library (eBooks, journal articles), databases (e.g. Medline, Embase), evidence summary resources, medicines information resources, local NHS library collections (print) and help & training support.

To access these resources users need to register for an NHS Scotland Open Athens account.

There is now a dedicated medicines information page with all the relevant resources to support your practice including:

  • eMartindale,

  • Stockley’s Drug Interactions,

  • The Palliative Care Formulary,

  • Meyler’s side effects of drugs,
