Period of Learning in Practice (PLP)

Published: 21/03/24

A group of pharmacy students smiling and clutching their books.

Our strategy to train and develop CP IP Employees to deliver a prescribing service from community pharmacy is continuing, with the most recent courses at Strathclyde and RGU now underway.

The network has provided great support for trainees in supporting them completing PLP during their courses. Thank you!

However.....we now have a further ask!

We need to expand and increase the availability pharmacies where the increasing numbers of trainee IPs can undertake PLP.

Can you help?

If you can support with PLP, please let us know on enquiries@cps.scot

We will arrange a matching/communication process to suit you, and make sure you are not swamped with requests!

If you would like to know more, or have any questions, please get in touch on enquiries@cps.scot.
