Many thanks to all the Independent Prescribers (IPs) across the network who are supporting trainee Community Pharmacy (CP) IPs as Designated Prescribing Practitioners (DPPs).

Our strategy to train and develop CP IP Employees to deliver a prescribing service from community pharmacy is continuing, with the most recent courses at Strathclyde and RGU now underway.

With Adam in the policy office now working one day a week in the DPDP programme, CPS are now closer to the action and helping the team understand the dispenser point of view so that the paperless prescription system that is designed works for you.

We have had some enquiries from trainees re CPS funding for courses.

Pharmacists on the trainee WhatsApp groups - when you qualify, can you please consider staying on the trainee groups to support the trainees on the group? This has been a great success till now, and it would be great to keep the peer support going.
