Reach Pharmacy is looking for a friendly, hardworking and reliable full-time Pharmacy Dispenser or Technician to expand our current team. We have been a family owned independent pharmacy group for over 20 years with a well staffed team who cares about our patients and provides quality healthcare to the local community.
Part of an award winning small, friendly, family owned and run pharmacy chain we have excellent relationships with local GP surgeries and a free delivery service across Lanarkshire, Glasgow and Renfrewshire where our 7 branches are located. Gartcosh is located 15 minutes from Glasgow off the M8 motorway near the Glasgow Forte shopping centre and Coatbridge.
Your main responsibilities will be to assist with the efficient running of the dispensary. Pharmacy experience is essential and applicants would ideally have completed an accredited SVQ Level 2/3 (or equivalent) Dispensing Assistant or Technician qualification or be currently working towards this. Qualification evidence will need to be supplied at interview. If you have worked in Pharmacy before but not completed a qualification feel free to get in touch. Competent with Analyst PMR system ( Positive Solutions ) would be ideal but not necessary as training will be provided.
The right candidate will be a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organised and passionate about helping people. A can-do attitude and a desire to be involved in service delivery or pursuing future training would also be of interest and supported. We are a friendly bunch and we run our robot hub operation from this branch so experience will be given on this as well.
This full-time role is 40 hours per week working Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 6.00pm with 60 minutes for lunch. For the right candidate slightly less hours could be considered- please provide your availability alongside your application. Salary is competitive and dependent on experience and qualification. We also run a generous bonus target scheme with a workplace pension. You won’t feel like another number as part of our lovely team with the Pharmacist owner around to support where needed. We have an experienced Pharmacist Manager ( who is also our Area Manager ) and regular locums some of whom were prior Prereg students with us and locums that have worked with us for over 10 years.
