Job Title:
Pharmacist Manager (Independent Prescriber preferred but not essential)

Job Description:
Davidson’s Chemists: Dedicated to providing exceptional patient care at the heart of the community.

We have an exciting opportunity in Auchterarder to join and lead the team as Pharmacist Manager. The branch is one of two Davidson’s Chemists in Auchterarder, following a very successful acquisition last year, that has seen the pharmacy go from strength to strength in both business and patient care.

Who Are Davidson’s Chemists?
As Scotland’s largest independent multiple, we operate 57 pharmacies across eight Health Boards. Established in Tayside in 1897, we have been growing ever since, continuing to invest in new and exciting opportunities. Committed to the communities we serve, we are recognised with a prestigious Royal Warrant, of which we are very proud!

Our senior management team welcomes feedback from all staff members, ensuring safe, appropriate practices and resource levels are available at all our branches. This includes the 43 Independent Prescribers operating both Pharmacy First Plus and private clinics across our branches. We have a further 10 IPs in training, setting us up well to achieve our ultimate goal: to provide this service in every Davidson’s Chemist.

We can provide a DPP from our extensive pool of qualified independent prescribing pharmacists, who have already assisted many pharmacists in the successful completion of the IP course.

  • Commitment to Excellence:
We continually strive to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and patient care. Whether through patient or employee feedback, we are always seeking ways to improve ourselves and the patient experience.

  • Up-to-Date Technology:
We use the PSL Analyst PMR system, which incorporates many features to reduce errors and improve patient safety.

Our Commitment to You:
